The Australian Biobank Network Association (ABNA) is a consortium of Biobanking professionals engaged in the collection, storage and dissemination of biospecimens and data for researchers locally, nationally and internationally. ABNA is committed to providing an opportunity for individuals who have an interest in Biological and Environmental Biorepositories to share information and gain experience. ABNA’s affiliation with the International Society of Biological and Environmental Repositories (ISBER) enables an International collaboration and focus.
This year is going to be celebrated in Carins, QLD during the 16 to the 19th of October. The venue will offer excellent facilities for trade displays and for collegiate mingling. It is is anticipated to attract approx. 100 specialist biobanking managers and research professionals from Australia, New Zealand and Internationally. ABNA is the only meeting of its kind in Australasia.
